I finally caught up on caps! I apologize again for taking so long to get them up, but real life has been insane for the past couple of months and I just haven’t had the time to catch up until now. Unfortunately these aren’t HD caps, as I’ve had a terrible time find HD torrents of quite a few shows lately, but they are a nice quality and I made them as large as I could without them ending up looking funky. I have to say that I enjoyed the finale and am happy that they finally let Brooke find some happiness. It’s certainly about time.

Brooke (Sophia Bush), for some One Tree Hill fans, has been stripped of everything while everyone else on Tree Hill seems to be happy. On top of that, season 6 ultimately crushed the idea of a Brucas reunion, especially now that Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) and Peyton (Hilarie Burton) are expected to walk down the aisle.
So what’s next for Brooke Davis? In an interview with Zap2it.com, series creator Mark Schwahn weighs in on what’s in store for the feisty gal, without giving up too much hints to spoil what could be an interesting storyline.
“Brooke in many ways — I don’t know if I’ve ever said this out loud — feels a lot like Karen to me. Because Karen had been very solitary in raising Lucas… and Brooke also feels like she’s chosen this solitary existence. And I think, for the fans, they feel like, if not Lucas, then no one. But we’re doing this little dance with Owen right now, which we will follow up on. [Stephen] Colletti is returning, so Chase is in the mix. And there are other directions to go, too. But ultimately, I think the questions are more about Brooke and the choices she’s made. Is she going to change her ways or is she going to be solitary as she continues her life? And that’s interesting to me,” Schwahn said.
A significant part of Brooke’s storyline, over the last two seasons, was her relationship with her mother Victoria, which hasn’t exactly been smooth-sailing. And though Brooke has given up ownership of Clothes Over Bros to Victoria in season 6, Schwahn says viewers have not seen the last of Daphne Zuniga.
“I think we will see her again. I like Daphne a lot and I like that [her character] Victoria can be sort of the queen of mean. People like a villain… there’s a reason that Dan Scott is still relevant on the show. But this is something I haven’t said to anyone else: You know how sometimes things skip a generation? Like, Dan is being so sweet to Jamie, but he could never be that person to his sons. Well, what will Victoria’s reaction to Sam be? I always love when we can pull the curtain back a little bit on our villains and show that they actually have a heart,” he explained.
One Tree Hill returns on January 5.
